Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 24, 2026
Effective date: May 1, 2026
1. Introduction
Redress Me (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a mobile app that helps you organize clothing, outfits, calendars, and packing lists. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the Redress TestFlight beta (“App” or “Beta”).
By creating an account or using the Beta, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Beta notice. The Beta is pre-release software. Features, data handling, and this policy may change before a public release. Beta data may be lost during updates. Do not rely on the Beta as your only copy of important information.
2. Who we are
App name: Redress Me (TestFlight build may appear as “Redress TestFlight”)
Contact: redressme@icloud.com
Website: https://redress.me
For privacy questions, account deletion, or Beta feedback, email us at the address above.
3. What this Beta does (important for your data)
In the TestFlight Beta:
Account sign-in uses email and password through our authentication provider (Supabase).
Closet content (item photos, outfit images, wardrobes, tags, categories, calendar events, packing lists, and related metadata) is stored primarily on your device in the app’s local database. Cloud backup/sync of closet content is turned off in this Beta build.
Profile display name may be stored with your account on our servers. Profile photos in this Beta are stored on your device, not uploaded to our cloud image storage.
Social features (friends, sharing, public profiles) and wishlist/fitting features available in other builds are not enabled in this Beta.
A future production version may enable cloud sync, social features, or other services. We will update this policy before those features ship to testers or the public.
4. Information we collect
4.1 Information you provide
We collect information you choose to give us when you use the Beta. To create and use an account, you provide an email address, a password, and a display name. We use these to authenticate you and identify your account. The core of the App is your closet content: photos of clothing and outfits, along with related details you may add, such as item or outfit names, notes, brands, categories, subcategories, tags, sizes, colors, seasons, prices, and favorites. You can organize items into wardrobes (closets), use packing features (storage locations and checklists), and plan with a calendar (event names, dates and times, notes, and optional location or address information if you enter it). You may add a profile photo using your camera or photo library, and you may contact us by email for support or feedback. In that case we receive whatever information you include in your message. You decide what closet content to add. Photos may show you or other people; you are responsible for having permission to use those images.
4.2 Information collected automatically
Some information is collected automatically when you use the App. When you sign in, our authentication provider issues account and session identifiers (such as a user ID and session tokens) so you can stay signed in securely. Authentication requests may also generate standard technical data on our providers’ systems, such as IP address, device type, and timestamps, which we use for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting. The App may store certain preferences and state on your device, such as whether you completed onboarding and optional settings you configure (for example, weight-related preferences where that feature is available). We do not use third-party advertising networks in the Beta, and we do not sell your personal information. The Beta is not designed to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. If you use the Share extension when it is available, content you share from another app (such as an image or link) is passed into Redress only when you take that action in the share sheet.
3 Permissions (iOS)
The App may ask for:
Camera — to photograph items, outfits, or your profile picture.
Photo library — to choose existing photos for items, outfits, or your profile.
You can deny permissions; some features will not work without them.
If you use the Share extension (when available), content you share from another app (e.g., an image or link) is passed into Redress only when you confirm that action.
5. How we use information
We use information to:
Provide and operate the App (wardrobes, items, outfits, calendar, packing).
Authenticate you and maintain your account.
Store your display name and account record with our backend.
Respond to support requests and improve the Beta.
Enforce our terms, protect security, and comply with law.
Delete your account when you use Delete Account in Settings (see Section 8).
We do not use your closet photos or outfit images for advertising in the Beta.
6. Where information is stored
On your device. In the TestFlight Beta, most of your closet data—including item and outfit photos and related metadata—is stored locally in the app’s on-device database. Your profile photo in this Beta is also stored on your device (not uploaded to our cloud image storage). App preferences and onboarding state may be stored on the device as well. With our service providers. Account sign-in and basic profile information (such as your email and display name) are processed and stored through Supabase, our authentication and database provider. When you delete your account in Settings, deletion is handled through our account-deletion process on that infrastructure. With Apple. The Beta is distributed through TestFlight. Apple may collect information related to distribution, installation, and crash diagnostics according to Apple’s privacy policies. If you use iCloud Backup or other device backups, copies of on-device app data may be included in those backups under Apple’s terms. What this Beta does not do. In this TestFlight build, cloud backup or sync of your closet images and wardrobe content to our cloud storage is disabled, even though other product builds may support that in the future. Social and friends features are also not enabled in this Beta.
Apple
TestFlight distribution, crash diagnostics Apple provides to developers (per Apple’s policies), and device backups if you use iCloud Backup
Beta: Closet images and most wardrobe data in this build are not synced to our cloud storage (e.g., Cloudflare R2) even if that exists in other product tiers.
7. Third-party service providers
We use service providers that process data on our behalf:
Supabase — account authentication and user profile storage. Supabase Privacy Policy
Apple — TestFlight distribution and platform services. Apple Privacy Policy
We require providers to protect information and use it only to provide services to us, subject to their terms and applicable law.
We do not enable cloud image sync or social graph features in this TestFlight build.
8. Retention and deletion
While you use the App: We retain account and on-device data as long as you keep the App and remain signed in.
Sign out: Ends your session; local closet data generally remains on the device until you delete the App or delete your account.
Delete Account (Settings): Initiates deletion of your account on our servers (via our
delete_my_accountprocess) and removes your app data from the device, including local profile avatar files and onboarding flags, as implemented in the App. Deletion is intended to be permanent; recovery may not be possible.Beta: We may reset or wipe Beta environments during development.
Some information may remain in encrypted backups, Apple TestFlight logs, or provider logs for a limited time as described in their policies.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate for a beta consumer app, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for account services and secure credential handling by our auth provider. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure; use a strong password and protect your device.
10. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email redressme@icloud.com. We will verify your request using your account email where reasonable.
California and other U.S. state privacy laws: we do not sell personal information. See Section 7 for categories of sharing with service providers.
EEA/UK users: legal bases may include contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (security and improvement), and consent where required (e.g., permissions).
12. International transfers
If you use the App outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your home country.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy for the Beta or for a public release. We will post the updated version at https://redress.me/privacy and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Terms
Use of the App is also subject to our Terms of Use at https://redress.me/terms (or as otherwise posted).
